A native Northern Californian, my background in the wine business during the 80s and early 90s gave me a deep appreciation for the North Counties as the perfect environment to live and work. I walked vineyards and ambled through cellars, listening to viticulturalists and winemakers rhapsodize on the soils, climate, and natural beauty. I drove the freeways and backroads, selling the product of those vineyards, becoming fully engaged in the life of Sonoma County.   In 1998 I chose to enter the real estate profession, working in an office that specialized in vineyard properties, in addition to the broad range of residential listings and sales.  It was a great beginning.  I obtained my Broker's license in 2003, out of a desire to offer the most complete understanding of real estate to my clients.  In January of 2004, our small office merged with Frank Howard Allen, The Wine Country Group.  This larger office has allowed for incredible educational and networking opportunities.  As of January 2008, I began to co-manage the Healdsburg office in anticipation of the retirement of the only manager the office had ever had.  As of May 1st, I took the helm solo and am now managing the office in addition to my main responsibilities - my clients! A concern for protecting Sonoma County's environment for all of us and for future generations has led me to obtain an EcoBroker© certification.  This nationally recognized program for Realtors provides a wealth of information on natural hazards, energy efficiency, financing options, home rating systems, etc.  I am currently supplementing this certification with a new program, EcoGreen Real Estate, which has offered more specific information at the local level.
