Why Am I involved in Real Estate?

I very much enjoy working with people. This business allows me to meet and serve a wide variety of people from all walks of life. There is hardly a day that there is not an opportunity to make new friends and learn something new. Some days there are opportunities to "re-learn" something I already knew. I try not to do that very often.

A Real Estate transaction from listing through sale can be a "project" that requires "management." As an experienced Realtor I can assist the owner/seller in preparing a property for sale. In some cases this involves advising on inspections and helping arrange for contractors to do work that may be needed before placing a property on the market. In other instances the seller is advised to put the property on the market "as is." Each situation is different, the advice and assistance is also different.

It is an interesting business. I honestly feel this is an area where I can help people.

Why Buy a home in Sonoma Valley?

Sonoma Valley is a great place to call home. My family and I have done just that since 1970. It was and is a great place to raise a family.

The weather is very gentle compared to much of the United States. Probably the biggest single "selling point" about the area is the relatively low summer humidity. A typical summer day starts with "fog" or low clouds which "burn off" or dissipate about 10:00 AM. The afternoon highs typically are in the 88 - 92 degree range and with 20 - 30% relative humidity, it is quite comfortable.

In the late afternoon it is not at all unusual for a Bar-B-Que to start with short sleeves and end with sweaters (or inside). As soon as the sun sets beyond Sonoma Mountain, the temperature drops 15 - 20 degrees in an hour or hour and a half. Nearly all of our summer evenings are cool, with 50 - 60 degrees as a nightime low.

Winter, as much of the United States understands it, simply does not exist in Sonoma Valley.

In addition to the climate, this is a very caring community with many organizations dedicated to improving life in Sonoma Valley for everyone. And lest I forget, wine is known to be produced in the area.

Sonoma's proximity to the Bay Area and its cultural, athletic and recreational activities is a big "plus." Sonoma is conveniently located relatively near three excellent Airports, San Francisco, Oakland and Sacramento.

I mentioned earlier, it is a great place for a family, it is also a great place to retire.

In short,Sonoma is just a great place to live.

What do I "bring to the Table?"

As a Real Estate Agent, it is my job to assist my clients to achieve their Real Estate Goals as quickly and efficiently as possible. Along the way, I give sound advice based on years of business and "life" experience. I explain the economic "trade-offs" involved in the various decisions that need to be made during a Real Estate transaction. Ultimately, it is the client who makes the decision, armed with the best information available.

The center of my business is Sonoma Valley. However I have represented clients in transactions from Ukiah, Healdsburg and Santa Rosa to the North, Novato to the West, Benicia and Fairfield to the East.

I am very thorough and persistant. I don't pretend to have "all the answers," and when I don't know, I do know where to find the best information possible as it relates to the transaction at hand. Having lived and worked in Sonoma since 1970 I have "local knowledge" very few other Realtors can match.

In a nutshell, I have superior local knowledge, strong work ethic, depth of experience and rock solid business judgment.
